Adrian Bull and Alex Walsh

The YGN North West branch was delighted to have Alex Walsh (Sellafield, head of Hinton House at Risley) and Adrian Bull (head of external relations at NNL) come along to An audience with event and impart their substantial knowledge of the nuclear industry. Both shared the lessons they've learned, and gave advice on how we could make the most of our own careers. A key message was that it's important to enjoy your work - be dedicated to what you do, and yet be prepared and flexible to take opportunities when they arise - it's not always going to be when is most convenient, but you never know what you'll learn by putting yourself in a new environment!
