On the evening of Monday 14 November 2016, Martin Pearson, managing director of Urenco UK, delivered a lecture to the Nuclear Institute's North West branch, entitled 'Work at the Capenhurst site and the challenges and opportunities ahead'. Pearson shared his career background with the attendees, before moving on to introduce the Capenhurst site. The presentation introduced the work undertaken at Capenhurst and highlighted some of the challenges the site faces over upcoming years. He discussed some of the planned projects and the opportunities that this presents to the workforce at the site and the nuclear supply chain.
