Membership interview: Ross Nuttall

Ross Nuttall was born and raised in the North East of England and always had ambitions to become a Chartered Engineer. After leaving school, he embarked on an engineering career beginning in the pharmaceutical sector as a mechanical technician apprentice before moving onto the petro/chemical industry as a mechanical technician. Within this role, he worked at various sites around the UK & Ireland as well as locations overseas. After this, Nuttall went back to his roots at Hartlepool power station, fulfilling various roles within EDF Energy.Over the past ten years through professional membership with the Nuclear Institute and the breadth of experience at EDF Energy, Nuttall has been able to fulfil his ambition and become a Chartered Engineer.
