1.The Environment Agency is an independent regulator of the environmental impacts of the nuclear industry in England. 2.We ensure that any impacts on people and the environment are minimised and are well within legal limits. 3.We aim to create better places for people and wildlife, and to support sustainable development. 4.We are currently working with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Office for Nuclear Regulation to prepare to regulate advanced nuclear technologies.
