The NI Central England Branch hosted its YGN Young Speakers Competition on March 28. The branch received a high number of applications for the competition, which were painstakingly narrowed down to the six finalists. Applicants were from a variety of local organisations and the talks given on the presentation evening were varied, interesting and informative. The competition was introduced by Dr Mehdi Askarieh, chair of CEB and co-conducted by Maddie Knight, CEB YGN representative.
