Regulator ready to take new licence application

Westinghouse Electric's application for a licence to continue its operations in Sweden is complete and ready to be examined, the regulator has said. The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority said it had also received an environmental impact assessment to accompany the application. Following a public comment period, the regulator is planning to submit its recommendations to the government in August.
