Universities, industry, the Government and national labs come together at Nuclear Academics Discussion Meeting

The 2018 Nuclear Academics Discussion was held at the University of Liverpool in early September. The academics attending the two-day meeting contributed to a wide range of presentations that provided updates on existing UKRI-funded research consortia and highlighted opportunities for new international and industrial cooperation as well as learning about UK Government plans. This year saw the introduction of a new session devoted to newly appointed academics, who introduced themselves and described their research aspirations to the wider UK nuclear university community.
