Conducting ferromagnetic films deposited on a flexible substrate and rolled up into cylindrical sam- ples are considered. A practical implementation of microwave measurements of the film permeability is described. Formulas are obtained that relate the measured permeability of the sample and the intrinsic perme- ability of the film and correctly describe the skin effect in the film. The systematic error due to the spiral struc- ture of the sample is analyzed. It is demonstrated that this error slightly affects the permeability measurements.
