Enhancement of the Optical Field Coherence Ratio via the Multiphonon Bragg Diffraction

Enhancing the optical field coherence ratio by using the multiphonon Bragg diffraction, characterized by high angular and frequency selectivity, is proposed. Three-phonon diffraction is shown to exhibit pronounced filtering properties reducing the optical field phase noise.
