摘要

A delay equation is analyzed numerically at various values of the derivative of the nonlinear element characteristic dropping section. It is demonstrated that more pronounced nonlinearity may lead not only to chaotization of motions but to their dechaotization as well. The regions of chaotic and regular oscillations are determined at various values of the nonlinearity parameter and feedback delay time. The periodic and chaotic variations of the delay time are studied. It is demonstrated that, in both cases, the delay time modulation extends the zones of chaotic motions and reduces jumps in the power spectral density of chaotic oscillations.
