摘要

The release and chemistry of potassium and chlori- ne was studied in a black liquor recovery boler (BLRB) and a bubbling fluidized bed (BFB) boiler. The two boilers, located at the same mill, were commissioned at the end of 1992. When pri- mary and secondary sludge burning in the BFB boiler was star- ted, severe corrosion problems were encountered. The recovery boiler, on the other hand has been running after commissioning without observed corrosion of superheaters.
