Data from a 32 - microphone array and time-domain beam forming are used to obtain two-dimensional images of sound source distribution from near-ground airborne sounds. The signal processing is described and array configurations spanning a square area with a side length of 3.45 m, approximately five wavelengths for a 500 Hz sound are examined.
