Six years after TIM McVeigh's truck bomb broke the heart of Oklahoma City, the wreckage of the Murrah Federal Building has been demolished and its site, on Fifth Street, is now a monument to the 168 men, women and children who died there. The emotional scars are not so easily repaired. The bombing's anniversary, April 19, is approaching, and McVeigh is back in the news, mostly because of a new book, "American Terrorist," that presents McVeigh's story of the crime and his embittered life. He claims total responsibility for the worst act of domestic terrorism in American history.
