As at 5 November the following locomotive and rolling stock news and repair work was being carried out. DC4444 - left Auckland on Hoegh Jacksonville on 2 October for Australia and the Martinus Rail fleet. The Hoegh Jacksonville is a heavy lift vessel in the Hoegh Autoliner fleet of Norway. She is designed to carry heavy equipment such as large pieces of machinery and railway equipment. DC4571 - also in Martinus colours was towed to Auckland on 21 October.
