The depot's administration buildings and water tank on Tamaki Drive on 18 June 1966. The graffiti on the fence dates the photograph. Four J~A class locomotives waiting for their next duty. Of the 16 members of the class built by North British Locomotive Co Ltd of Scotland in 1951, the majority were based in Auckland for much of their working lives.
