摘要

The electrical discharge machining uses electrical dis- charge phenomena which enables the machining of compex- of fine shapes which are impossible by milling or turning machines. This paper gives and outline of the sinker EDM machine and the wire EDM machine which NEC has developed in cooperation with MAKINO Co. Ltd.
