Naval Engineers Journal Transition

I recently reported that ASNE was making plans to enter into a publishing arrangement that would change the way the Naval Engineers Journal is produced and distributed. I am pleased to report that the agreement has now been completed and this issue of the Journal is the first to be produced under the new arrangement. We have partnered with Blackwell Publishing, which recently merged with the Scientific, Technical and Medical Division of John Wiley & Sons, a highly respected publisher of books and journals in engineering, science, medicine and other professional fields. Together, the Wiley-Blackwell Division publishes more than 1,200 peer-reviewed journals for nonprofit societies. Our new arrangement brings their extensive experience, resources and expertise to bear on the production, marketing and distribution of the Journal.
