Reflections on a Challenging Period

My term of office as your President has kept me quite busy, but I find it to be extremely interesting and rewarding. I enjoy working with the Council to prepare the Society for a vibrant future and working together with the Section leadership and professionals in the headquarters staff to bring you the very best technical programs and support to our membership. I have had the pleasure of attending all of our national events since beginning my term as President. That has helped me to gain a better understanding of the tremendous breadth of information that ASNE provides to our members and other attendees through our technical programs, and it has also strongly reinforced my deep appreciation for the tremendous contributions made by the members of the various Sections and committees that take the lead in organizing and conducting these events.
