W3 Professorship (Chair) for Clinical and Molecular Virology

At the Institute for Clinical and Molecular Virology to be filled by the earliest possible start date. The successful candidate will be expected to adequately represent clinical and molecular virology in research, teaching and healthcare, and chair the Institute of Clinical and Molecular Virology. Candidates must be recognised internationally in human virology and have considerable experience in managing research groups. The appointed professor shall work closely with research institutions linked to the Faculty of Medicine (Collaborative Research Centres, Graduate Schools, and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Clinical Research). The Faculty of Medicine offers degree programmes in human medicine, dentistry, medicine, molecular medicine and medical process management.
