The High-Performance Model

This April issue of (mt) is focused on high performance, defined as pushing the boundaries along any of the spokes of the design spiral. High performance often elicits a "wow" response, and if we could provide a single issue to prospective students, this would be it. Our issue leads, Rik van Hemmen and Dean Schleicher, have worked hard to bring us an exciting issue that addresses novel designs, advances in engineering approaches and tools, modem materials, and innovative construction techniques.
