When one considers the rich maritime history of Greece, it is perhaps not surprising that Wartsila has long had sales and service offices there. The company currently employs some 50 people in the head office in Piraeus and at its service workshop in Mandra. Over the years, Wartsila Greece has developed capabilities for serving both the local fleet as well as visiting ships. The 3,200 m~2 Mandra workshop facilities offer a range of repair, overhaul, retrofitting, and other services covering many makes of machinery.
