Section Meetings

Florida Section Chair Frank Torbert opened the virtual meeting on 23 July with 25 attendees. Torbert announced the results of the most recent Section elections, including new officers, managers, and returning managers. He then announced the cancellation of the December Technology Summit due to the current Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). He also announced the next two Zoom meetings and their potential topics: “Glass to Glass” presented by Canon and “Gaming Develop-ment in a Production Environment” presented by Full Sail University. Torbert then introduced the theme for the evening, followed by a presentation by Trip Wootten, Grass Valley, on “Maintaining Efficiency in the Remote Work World.”
