A Car is Born

Last month we were focusing on the finishing touches of Geoff Treasure's stunning Morgan Roadster. All built and ready, it was nearly time for it to head to its new home. However, before that happened, there were a few things that needed to be done first. Once built, the car was sent to the selling dealer, which in this case was Williams Automobiles. Once there, the car went through a rigorous session of checking and double-checking. There is seldom anything wrong, after all, the car undergoes a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) at the factory. However, given the hand-built nature of the car and the expectation of an eager new owner, it never hurts to give the car another once over. Once that's done, the car gets registered, has its number plates fitted and then the call is made to one very eager soon-to-be Morgan owner; in this case, Geoff.
