Martyn Webb grew up less than a mile away from the factory, so he's always been familiar with Morgans, having always seen them around the town. "Many years ago I remember saying to my parents that I was going to have one of these sports cars one day - they used to pat me on the head as if to say 'you'll grow out of it' but I didn't," recalls Martyn. In fact, growing out of it was never an option. As soon as he started earning money working in the RAF he tried to buy a Morgan with his first pay packet, though sadly he failed miserably! The only one he could afford was an absolute wreck of a car that would have cost a fortune to re-commission.
