Without a spot in which to sit, a car is basically a very large ornament, so somewhere to place one's derriere is a must. But it's not just a case of getting any old seat and bolting it in, oh no. Get it wrong and you'll be left with a car that causes aches and pains, it could be low in support through the bends or it could just be plain uncomfortable. If that's the case, no engine, chassis, suspension or general road holding will be able to make amends.
