Transfers of multiple-unit sets between train operating companies (TOCs) following the 11 November franchise change and the start of the new timetable on 9 December have now been largely concluded. Four more Class 319/0 sets are being subleased by First Capital Connect from Southern -taking the FCC total of the 20 sets that used to be with Southern to 12. Conveniently the sets now with FCC are Nos 319001 - 319012. One Class 319/0 (No 013) and the seven Class 319/2 sets (which also have First Class accommodation), Nos 319214 -319220, remain with Southern for the time being. 12 Class 142 sets have completed their transfer from Northern Rail to First Great Western. Nos 142001/4/9/28/29/30/62/63/64/67/68 and 70 are all based at Exeter.
