Rapid, accurate sortation with activated roller belt conveyors

Using dual-activated roller belt technology, a line of sortation systems provides gentle and precise sorting of items at correct divert points. The system features minimal moving parts and only one drive per sorter to reduce maintenance requirements. Capable of achieving 90-degree sorting, the conveyors run at rates from 40 to 200 packages per minute in applications such as right-angle diverting to work or reject stations; changing carton orientation during high-rate sorting; sorting into mini-load AS/RS; carton sequencing; and sorting into accumulation lines. The system accommodates products measuring at least 2×2 inches.
