For cold chain packaging of mail order foods, pharmaceuticals, pet medications and other temperature-sensitive shipments ThermoKeeper insulated box liners are made with ASTM tested and certified biodegradable components. The liners create a temperature-controlled shipping system that fits snuggly into a protective corrugated outer box. Offered as an alternative to foam lined coolers and other non-biodegradable containers, the liner's outer surface is waterproof poly film, while the inner surface is perforated poly film. Sandwiched between is an ultra-insulating padding made of cotton and wool recycled textile fibers that are purified, flocked and bonded together. To prevent cross-contamination, the insulation includes an EPA-approved antimicrobial additive and absorbent fibers that draw away condensation and contain spills and leaks.
