Interactive mapping tool added to maintenance software solution

The Interactive Image Mapping feature has been added to eMaint computerized maintenance management software (CMMS). This graphical user interface displays a floor plan, schematic, site map or any other image, and allows users to upload an image with the software's document storage feature. By placing pins on the image, an asset, work order, work request or inventory record can be highlighted for maintenance's attention. When a maintenance technician hovers over each pin, a clickable snapshot of the pinpointed item is displayed, providing access to the full record, a view of work history and scheduling. The feature also gives facilities and property managers the ability to see where equipment is located through a visualization of their building's floor plans.
