Andy Sperandeo retires

Andy Sperandeo, Model Railroader's executive editor, will retire at the end of August. Andy was hired in 1979 as an associate editor, and during the past 32 years he rose to become managing editor, editor, and executive editor. Andy's byline has appeared in the pages of this magazine more than 230 times. Andy also has edited numerous annual publications and special issues, such as the recently published How to Model Railroads of the 1950s, and he's written three Kalm-bach books, Easy Model Railroad Wiring, The Model Railroader's Guide to Passenger Equipment & Operation, and The Model Railroader's Guide to Freight Yards.
