Machine paint

I was re-reading Tony Jeffree's article on the Worden Grinder in the March Issue of MEW and I was struck by the section in it on choosing the paint for the grinder. I have to say that I consider it to have been a quite needless digression but it did remind me of the many times when I have read of people agonising on the correct choice of paint and colour in magazines and on the web.
