A LOW COST REV COUNTER FOR THE ASIAN MINILATHE

First I cut off the long tongue from the mounting bracket. The bracket was then secured to the change gear cover on the minilathe using a self-tapping screw. A 4mm hole was then drilled just below it for the cable (photo 2).
