25th Anniversary Photography Competition

The subject for this competition could be anything that reflected what the photographer achieves in their home workshop. The challenge was to take a picture that captures the spirit of home workshop engineering, rather than just documenting a tool or a process. Initially, entries were a bit slow but eventually the very round figure of fifty entries were received. There seemed to be a fair degree of reluctance to show people actually at work in the shop, with a couple of honourable exceptions. Many entrants went for an almost 'still life' approach, whether that was a photo of a tool or a more abstract image.
