Force people to take action on climate change says poll

Voters believe they should be forced by councils to take action on climate change, according to a new poll. The survey, carried out by ComRes for the LGA, looked at public attitudes towards global wanning, and the role local authorities should play in tackling it. Results showed 56% of respondents thought councils should force people to take action on climate change.
