Arrangements to minimise disruption during the transition to 75% business rates retention continue to be thrashed out. Some 61% of respondents to a consultation backed 'some form of transitional arrangements' in order to 'avoid significant step-changes, shocks or disruption to stable financial planning and service delivery,' a meeting of a Government-sector group heard.
