Powys CC councillors have confirmed the appointment of a new chief executiveDr Caroline Turner, assistant chief executive at the Isle of Anglesey CC, was officially appointed at a special meeting this week. She will succeed Dr Mohammed Mehmet, Powys' acting chief executive.Dr Turner said: ‘Local government in Wales is facing challenging times but by working together we can deliver good quality sustainable services for the people of Powys.'
