More solar panels for Nottingham's social housing stock

Nottingham City Council is to embark on a fresh round of solar panel installations on its social housing stock as part of its commercialism strategy. The council previously worked with energy providers under a rent-a-roof arrangement but is now using its own staff and resources as the next phase is rolled out across Nottingham. It will generate income for the council thanks to government schemes such as the Feed-in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive.
