Portsmouth's local projects fund

Up to £2,500 will be available for each of Portsmouth City Council's new community panels to spend on local projects. The cash will come from a Community Development Foundation and must be 'matched' by community effort. 'It's all about improving the quality of life for local residents, and encouraging people to be involved in their community,' said co-ordinator Rob Neale.
