We need an Assistant Chief Executive Legal and Democratic Services, with vision, leadership and drive to work successfully with key stakeholders in designing and delivering new ways of working, and changing the shape of the council for the future which in five years will no doubt look different from the council of today. The post will be part of the council's management board providing an opportunity to influence and shape the wider council and change agenda. The role is challenging and is not for the faint hearted but the rewards are high for the right person.
