Better Prospects for Jersey staff as they vote to join union

Civil servants in Jersey have voted to strengthen their union representation.Members of Jersey Civil Servants' Association (JCSA) have voted overwhelmingly to join Prospect, the national union representing professional, technicaland government staff. The association will become a branch of Prospect for its 855 members, who backed the move against a background of concern over public sector funding.Public sector staff on Guernsey and the Isle of Manhave already merged with Prospect.
