NHS commissioning groups will quickly need to become 'intelligent customers' to make the most of healthcare reforms, according to Capi- a's head of health services, Beverley Bryant. Speaking at a meeting of commissioning group leaders, Ms Bryant said hey would have to make some tough lecisions about what services to offer. 'Commissioning groups will need of learn - by sharing services, by buy- ing advice on a fixed-term basis or by working with trusted partners - to become intelligent customers,' she warned.
