Firms line up for South Wales contracts

Eleven companies have been officially approved as potential contractors by the South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework (SWWRCF), and can now bid for £300m of local authority construction work. Contracts involved are divided up into three lots, and the shortlisted companies include both regional and national firms. The framework includes the construction of schools and other public buildings across the whole region, including of Swansea City and CC, Carmarthenshire CC, Pembrokeshire CC and North Port Talbot County BC.
