摘要

Phew....the budgets are now set for another year and we can all sit back and pat ourselves on the back for surviving another year of austerity. Yep, sure! Yes, local government should rightly be pleased with what it has achieved over the last three years and in many respects it has radically changed as a consequence. No longer is central government considering us to be the dinosaur of the public sector but now more of a crusader. Yep, sure! Our customers are equally as appreciative who see how hard we've worked to do our best to safeguard front line services, whilst stripping out cost in the back office. Yep, sure! And HR has been fully recognised as playing a significant role in driving this change. Um... that's doubtful!
