'You stick your input in, your output out, Coordinate your strategy, and shake it all about.' Half Man, Half Biscuit's Nigel Blackwell has been one of my muses for some years now. And it's easy to see why. He hilariously deconstructs the arrogance, pomposity, disingenuity and delusions of those who would attempt to impose on others a world as they think it should be rather than understand and deal with how it actually is. There are hidden gems across his repertoire every one of us in public service should take note of.
