DCLG LEP rating system canned

The Government has scrapped its rating system for local enterprise partnerships (LEP), The MJ has learnt. Previously, the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) had three levels of flexibility over the funding mat each LEP received through their growth deal. The ratings were based on the department's confidence in each LEP's ability to deliver its plan and existing governance arrangements.
