We are again inviting applications from local government professionals within the UK to study alongside a local authority in a European country. For this second year, The Best Practice Foundation is seeking applications that focus on economic development and public private partnerships - two of the most important issues facing local government across Europe. Within an increasingly global marketplace, local government is seeking to play a vibrant and effective role in shaping sustainable economies within their communities. Similarly, the public sector continues to develop links with private partners for mutual benefit to meet priority objectives.
