Mods 'n' Minis at Ace Cafe

The Ace Cafe Mods V Minis Nights are now a regular fixture for many Mini fans living within easy reach of west London, and by 'easy reach' we don't just mean within the M25. Regulars come from far and wide. With excellent access to the North Circular Road from the North via the A1 and M1, and from the West via the A40 from the M3, M4 and M40, it can take less time to get there from 100-plus miles away than it takes from South London in the rush hour via the South Circular Road! Hence the reason why Internet-based groups such as The Mini Forum and Specialist Mini Forums, whose members are spread far and wide, tend to congregate at the Ace, as well as London-based clubs. In fact, even clubs as far afield as Birmingham Mini Owners Club sometimes attend the monthly meets after getting a taste for the place when attending the annual Italian Job Charity Night held every September. The dark, cold winter meets are obviously less well-attended than the light summer evenings, but the February meet, pictured here, was extremely well attended.
