My Mini is a 1979 Morris HL. It was bought on eBay as an unfinished project with the front cut off. It needed a fair amount of body work and some TLC. I have loved Minis since I was four (I'm now 22) as my uncle had several as I was growing up. I have been reading MiniWorld for years and am now on my third Mini and just love them! This is the biggest project I have taken on and, after two years of hard work and saving, it is finally getting to the final stages. It has a Clubby fibreglass front, fibreglass boot, smoothed rear bumper and carbon fibre doors. It has just been resprayed by Mike, at Mistyle of Weymouth, who also carried out the welding. I am fitting a tuned up A-series lump with straight-cut box. I can't wait to get it on the road, and show it off. I am planning on having it on the road ready for the MiniWorld Action Day on 28 September. I wouldn't have got this far without my mates and uncle helping, and all the hard work Mike has put in. I would be chuffed to bits to see it in your magazine.
