Dell Expands Computer Recycling Program

Dell has recently expanded its U.S. Reconnect recycling partnership with Goodwill Industries to six additional states, including Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, New Hampshire, Oregon and Vermont. Akron, Ohio, Frederick, Maryland and New Haven, Connecticut are new Reconnect cities. The program is free for consumers who want to responsibly recycle any brand of unwanted computer equipment. The announcement brings the total number of participating Goodwill retail stores to more than 1,000 nationwide. In keeping with its mission of job creation, Goodwill plans to hire additional staff to oversee the expanded recycling program.
