PSI Helps Recyclers On Current Issues

Texas Recycling has been involved in the Paper Stock Industries (PSI) chapter since the company's inception inrn1992, and even before then with a previous operation. Our family has also been a part of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) and its predecessor NARI since the 1980s. Our company has found the chapter and ISRI to be proactive in addressing many issues that are affecting recyclers today. Overseas inspection inrnChina and India on scrap export orders is a big issue right now. PSI, working through ISRI, is working with Chinese and Indian governments on quality control issues and is trying to facilitate facility inspections for recyclers.
